This past weekend at the Grillin Shop in Centennial CO – Grill Daddy Academy graduated 14 from the BBQ Ribs Class. We had several students that had also taken the Grillin’ Class. At the end of the class the students were clamoring for a Brisket Class. I will have to get with Don and see what he wants to do next. Some of the topics that have been mentioned before include: a tailgate class for football season and a turkey class for Thanksgiving coming up. If there is anything you would like to see drop me a line and let me know. The hardest thing right now will be finding a date as Don would like to hold them on Saturdays and my Saturdays are full for the next few months. In the rib class students learned how to select ribs, the best place to buy them, how to season, how to trim, how to layer flavors, they learned how to cook the ribs in 3 different stages to ensure perfect texture every single time! I wish I had some pictures but I was spaced and didn’t take any. I am confident after a couple of practice sessions the students will be cooking ribs that look like the rack below.
