Grilled Cheese Tacos if you have never had it is something I highly recommend trying if you like grilled cheese and if you like tacos. For the grilled cheese tacos recipe in this video, I take Taco Seasoning and add it to smoked Ground beef that we made on the weber kettle. By smoking the ground beef first you get that flavor that you can’t duplicate by making it inside in a kitchen. We then added some green chili and an assortment of toppings. We used Adrenaline Barbecue Company’s Drip and griddle to make the grilled cheese Sandwiches.
I have kids and one of there favorite things to eat is Grilled cheese – they prefer quesadillas to tacos so thought I would give this a shot with them as I was not sure if they would like it. They loved it! They had fun eating it and making it. Grilled Cheese tacos is something we will definitely be making it again.
Delicious Grilled Cheese Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
- Bread Your Favorite Cheese
- Butter
- 1lb ground beef 80/20
- Taco Seasoning
- Your favorite taco toppings
Season the ground beef with Taco seasoning and smoke at 250-275 until meat reaches an internal temperature of 165 drain off excess fat and add about 6oz os water and then preseason the meat to make a taco seasoning sauce in the meat. Return to smoker and heat over higher heat, which is created by adding more coals to reduce the seasoning sauce and intensify the flavor. While this is happening make grilled cheese sandwiches by grilling off on a griddle. We used the drip and griddle from adrenaline BBQ company. Important to roll outthe bread before making the grilled cheese so that your taco can hold the ingredients.
