USA Barbecue Championship – $125,000
Tomorrow I leave for Las Vegas to compete in my first national contest. To say that I am both excited and nervous is an understatement. Looking forward to getting back to one of my favorite cities…and Q’ing I mean it has been almost 15 hours since I last Q’d. I did a practice run on chicken last night and have a new flavor profile I am excited to debut in Vegas. The contest making its first appearance at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada is the Third Annual USA Barbecue Championship promoted by Smoke on the Water Productions. The Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned USA Barbecue Champion’s purse of $125,000 is the largest on the competition circuit. The USA Barbecue Championship is held at The Orleans Hotel & Casino, right off the bright lights of the famous Las Vegas Strip. If your going to be in Vegas drop me a line and come by and hangout!
