In this video, I show you how to grill a simple, delicious filet mignon just like you’d get at a fancy steakhouse. When selecting the meat, make sure you’ve got about a 2″ thick steak with lots of fat marbling. I’m keeping things simple, seasoning with only salt and pepper to allow for the flavor of the meat to shine through. In order to get a perfect medium-rare cook on these steaks, I start the cook low and slow then finish them off with a butter baste and a hot sear on the PK Grill.
